Before starting this application please be sure you are aware of the following information:
- You are the child who will hold the Junior ISA / have parental responsibility for that child.
- You must be aged 16 or over to apply. If the child is aged between 16 and 18 they can apply to open one themselves.
- The child must be aged under 18 and resident in the UK, or a UK Crown servant, a dependent of a UK Crown servant or married to/in a civil partnership with a UK Crown servant.
- The child cannot have a Child Trust Fund and a Junior ISA but you can transfer an existing Child Trust Fund to a Junior ISA.
- The child can only have one Stocks and Shares Junior ISA at any time but you can transfer an existing Stocks and Shares Junior ISA.
- If you are setting up a direct debit you need to have the personal bank account details of an account in your name, or joint names.
- Please note that you will not be able to save your application part way through. You should complete the application in a single session.
